Audio Recording (audiobook example)
Speaking from my role as a voiceover artist, sometimes we don't always get the best take on the first run through the content. This recording, for a book on Audible (or ACX for me), is the retail sample, representing hours of performance, studio designing (yes, the room!) for the best spoken word sound, editing to the author's spec, tweaking sounds and EQ for clarity, and everything else involved with delivering the best product, all while adhering to the strict ACX production guidelines.
This is an example of my voiceover/narration work, requested by a friend for their podcast. The brief was 'soft baritone for smooth bluesy podcast'. I recorded and mastered this in my home studio. Recorded using a Rode NT-1A.
